This $26.5M mansion comes with a ‘Star Wars’ cantina

You may be able to recite every single Luke Skywalker line in the “Star Wars” series, but does your basement look like a galaxy far, far away?

A Los Angeles mansion has hit the market for $26.5 million, featuring a basement stocked with incredible works inspired by the popular films, including life-size figures of Darth Vader and Yoda and even a re-creation of the iconic cantina scene from “Episode IV,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

The owner, an unidentified semi-retired investor, is willing to part with the collection for an additional and unannounced sum, save for some choice can’t-give-up pieces.

The space is designed to give visitors a Tatooine vibe, that being Skywalker’s home planet. There’s a mural that shows its desert terrain, complemented by full-size statues of other planets’ beings.

Among the most impressive belongings is a ceiling-hung replica of a Rebel Alliance X-Wing fighter ship, with figures of Skywalker and R2-D2 in its cockpit. There’s also a movie theater with multiple leather seats, and the ceiling is a model of the cockpit view from a TIE fighter. Textured tiles that line the walls are also an accurate representation of the surface of the Death Star, the Journal adds.

These are primarily custom-built replicas, not props that appeared on-screen. That’s because the owner believes film props don’t have a high-quality finish like these museum-worthy belongings.

Beyond this “Star Wars” universe paradise, the 18,200-square-foot home also has a gym, a music studio and a safe room. The 3-acre grounds have an indoor-outdoor pool, a tennis court and — for more outer-space appeal — an observatory with a 14-inch reflector telescope.

Arvin Haddad, Emil Hartoonian and Mauricio Umansky of the Agency are marketing this spread.
