This West Village townhouse formerly owned by cookbook author and food critic Katie Lee, who is also Billy Joel’s ex-wife, has sold for $14.1 million, according to city property records.
The last asking price for the property, located at 23 Perry St., was $15.99 million.
The seller was Wes Edens, co-founder of Fortress Investment Group and co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, and his wife Lynn, owner of Little Creek Farms. The buyer is Cindy Holland, who appears to be a Netflix VP in charge of original content.
The piano man bought the home in 2006 for $5.9 million and sold his share to Lee in their divorce. She then sold it for $11.65 million in 2011. Edens put it on the market in April of 2019.
The 4,570-square-foot home has four gas fireplaces and a lovely chef’s kitchen that played a starring role in Lee’s cookbooks.
