The elegant seven-story townhouse at 18 E. 74th St., was asking $27.7 million earlier this year — down from its $34 million price tag in 2013.

The couple launched home fragrance brand Slatkin & Co. in 1992, the year they married. Laura then founded NEST Fragrances while Harry launched Homeworx, known for its scented candles.

The Slatkins bought the 1920s-era property, listed in Laura’s name, for $11.72 million in 2005.

At a spacious 10,300 square feet, the townhouse features eight bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two powder rooms. The home opens to a marble foyer, and features an internal elevator and an 824-square-foot rooftop garden with Central Park views.

The listing broker is Richard Steinberg, of Douglas Elliman.
