John Wayne Gacy’s Chicago house where he killed 33 people is up for sale

It’s a killer property — and its next owner may never know John Wayne Gacy murdered his 33 victims there.

The grisly tidbit doesn’t have to be disclosed by the owner now selling the Chicago site, according to Illinois law, although realtors must tell the truth if asked, TMZ reported Tuesday.

The suburban property is the site where the infamous “Killer Clown’’ murdered nearly three dozen boys and young men between 1972 and 1978 and buried 29 of their corpses.

Gacy’s home on it was bulldozed over in 1979, and the vacant lot became a public spectacle. A Chicago woman then bought the land in 1986 for $30,544 and built a home on it for her retiring parents, who were apparently aware of the property’s sick past, according to TMZ.

Former site where John Wayne Gacy was found to have murdered and buried 33 people is being sold. The 2,500-square-foot home, which sits on the lot that is just under 9,000 square feet, is now selling for $459,000, according to TMZ. It is described as a “beautiful brick home” with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an updated kitchen overlooking a huge backyard.

Robert Picciariello of Prello Realty is representing the seller, the gossip site reported. A message left on the firm’s voicemail was not immediately returned.

Gacy, a building contractor who entertained children by dressing up as a clown, was executed in Illinois in 1994 after his conviction. He sexually assaulted and tortured his victims before murdering them. Many were transients.

Gacy buried most of their corpses on his property. It was only when the site couldn’t hold any more victims that he dropped four more from nearby bridges, some of which were found in the Des Plaines River.
