Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz sell Manhattan apartment for $6M

Even James Bond couldn’t save this real estate deal.

Actors Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have sold their East Village home for $6 million. That’s the same price they paid for the 15th-floor unit, located in the New Theatre Building at 240 E. 10th St., in 2012.

Back then, the red-carpet couple loved the 3,200-square-foot apartment so much that they ended up paying about $1 million above its $4.99 million asking price.

Given the sale price, it seems they just about broke even.

The three-bedroom, 2½-bathroom condo is close to East 11th Street, where Weisz lived with her then-partner, director Darren Aronofsky. The full-floor pad comes with three balconies and views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and One World Trade. A key-locked elevator opens to a foyer and a large living room. There’s also a kitchen with stainless steel countertops, exposed cement ceilings and two large walk-in closets in the master suite.

We hear that the couple have since moved into their very own Brooklyn townhouse, which they bought last year for $6.75 million. The sellers were writers Martin Amis and Isabel Fonseca, who left the Cobble Hill home after a fire in 2016.

The East Village unit’s listing broker was Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group.
