Kendall Jenner’s Dog Biting Incident Full of Drama

There’s a strange story going around about Kendall Jenner’s pet Doberman Pinscher, who allegedly biting a little girl yesterday. Now, sources are telling People and TMZ that the dog didn’t actually bite anyone, the little girl’s granddad (a celeb divorce attorney who knows the Kardashian family) is saying the dog did, and Jenner is even tweeting about it.

Here, an overview.

Okay, so what exactly happened?

This much is clear: Jenner and her boyfriend Ben Simmons were eating on the patio of Beverly Glen Deli with Jenner’s dog. The five-year-old girl and her mother were there as well, and Jenner’s harnessed dog either nipped or barked at the girl, depending on what source you believe. Police were called over the dog incident, an officer of public information for the LAPD confirmed to People. They ultimately determined it to be a civil matter and were not involved. TMZ reports the police turned the case over to Animal Control.

The little girl was given ice for whatever happened inside; when the mother went outside to talk to Jenner and Simmons, they had paid their bill and left with no contact information.

“The police and emergency services did not come to the scene,” a source told People. “Kendall didn’t leave until she knew the dog didn’t bite the little girl.”

So did the dog actually bite the girl?

Unclear. A source told People that the dog was “startled,” never made contact with the girl, and “did not bite anyone.” A source close to Jenner told TMZ the same thing and that Jenner would never bail in a serious situation. So if the dog bit the girl, she would’ve stayed.

But the little girl’s grandfather, celebrity divorce attorney Bob Cohen, who knows the family, is saying the dog did bite. He claims the dog “lunged without provocation and bit the little girl on the arm, breaking the skin and drawing a small amount of blood,” TMZ wrote. Cohen said his granddaughter later went to a pharmacy where a pharmacist cleaned the wound, put medicine on it, and a bandage. The child followed up with a doctor’s visit today.

Cohen and his family are not planning to make a lawsuit of it, though he did call Jenner “arrogant.”

Did Kendall say anything on social media about this?

Her rep declined to comment to People about it, but Jenner herself seemed to refer to the incident on Twitter. In a tweet that has since been deleted, a Twitter user linked out to an article about the dog bite and called Jenner “a disturbingly despicable, entitled, unsympathetic, sadistic, uncharitable and self-absorbed human being.”

Jenner replied, “Oof I’m sorry you feel that way. Hope to meet you one day to show you the real me, maybe I’ll tell you a little bit about the story too. God bless.”

Anything else?

In a perhaps unfortunately prophetically-captioned ‘gram, Jenner shared a pic of her dog in May and wrote, “cute but she’ll rip your face off.”
