Her sister-in-law Kate Middleton followed the rules on her wedding day in 2011. As the Duchess’s manicurist Jo Hansford revealed then, she wore a combo of Bourjois So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Enamel,a barely-there pink, and Essie Allure, a sheer beige.

Since Markle has moved to London, word on the street is that her go-to salon is Nails and Brows in Mayfair, where manis run from $30 to $80.

Ahead, shop some neutral polishes fit for a royal bride.
