After staging an eveningwear show called Secrets & Diamonds on Saturday night featuring young royals as models, Sunday’s 2PM extravaganza open followed suit.

As we filed into to the show, basilica music was interrupted every so often by announcements in both English and Italian that the show could not start if show-goers did not turn off their WiFi. What could we possibly be in store for? 45 minutes later we were still eagerly awaiting.

When the show started, church bells rang and Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “All of the Stars” played from the speakers. A series of bags flew down the runway via drone to resounding applause from the audience.
