Beyoncé Wax Figure Madame Tussauds

After many, many, MANY complaints about how un-Beyoncé-like Beyoncé’s wax figure looked, Madame Tussauds released a statement saying, “At Madame Tussauds, our talented team of sculptors take every effort to ensure we accurately color match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted. Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the color of our wax figures which is something our sculptors are unable to account for at the production stage.”

According to the New York Times, the museum took the criticism seriously enough to actually remove Beyoncé’s statue from the floor. On Friday, it released the statement:”We love, respect, and enjoy a working relationship with Beyoncé. We have adjusted the styling and lighting of her figure and she is on display.”

But, if you look through recent Instagram posts of Bey’s statue at Madame Tussaud’s NYC, you’ll notice she pretty much…looks the same.

It’s not just Madame Tussauds doing Bey a disservice with their waxwork. In a tweet by Allure editor in chief Michelle Lee, she shared some of the worst attempts, with the caption: “Theory: Beyoncé wax figure makers have never seen Beyoncé.”

A waxwork in San Francisco shows Bey donning her famous Crazy In Love orange dress. But that’s about all we recognize. And another waxwork in Canada is such a poor representation, it has a name tag on the dress.

Don’t even get us started on this one:

C’mon. Bey deserves better than this.

This comes after Kylie Jenner get her own waxwork at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. But luckily for her, it actually resembled her.
